2 - Vacuum Gauge

The Grabo Pro has a digital vacuum gauge on it, whereas the Grabo Plus has an analog gauge on it.

On the digital gauge, you can change the units to show bar, psi, as well as kilograms and pounds.

Whereas the Plus is literally just the vacuum level.

2-0 to the Grabo Pro!

3 – Auto-vacuum pump

The main difference between the two units is something that you can't see until you start to actually use the machines.

The Grabo Pro has an automatic on/off functionality with the vacuum.

Just turn it on and press the green button.

As soon as it gets to the right level of vacuum, then the vacuum motor on the pump will kick off.

It will then automatically toggle on and off to compensate for vacuum loss.

Whereas with the Grabo Plus, you need to watch the vacuum gauge yourself and then toggle the pump and off yourself to maintain suction.

3-0 to the Grabo Pro!

Parting thoughts

If you are using this machine day in day out, we thoroughly recommend you choose a new Grabo Pro over the Grabo Plus.

They both lift the same amount so there's no difference in terms of performance.

It is literally the handle and the vacuum gauge that have the advantages, along with the on/off automatically toggling of the vacuum pump.

Consumables & spares

Both the Grabo Plus & Pro fit the same seals.

You can get spare seals which literally just pop in.

They both take the same batteries and they both take the same charges as well.

All the consumables are interchangeable between the two units.
